Lorina was born on June, 28th in Targu-Jiu, where she grew up. When she was 10 years old, she discovered her passion for music, and ended up signing for the “Palatul Copiilor”, in the music section.
Thereby,she began participating in national and international singing contests, winning many awards given by the juries, consisting of great names in Romanian music industry like Horia Moculescu,Mihai Treistariu, Laurentiu Cazan, Radio host Titus Andrei and Mihai Constantinescu.
Afterwards, for a period of 2 years, she was the lead singer of a band from Targu-Jiu, a very appreciated music group for its good quality live performances.
The most important part in Lorina’s career was at 18 years old, when she participated in The Voice Romania. She passed the blind auditions, when her coach turned around for her, being impressed by her voice.
A year later she moved to Bucharest and started taking courses at the Faculty of Law. She tried to get herself involved in some music projects, but none of them worked out. Following closely his career, Lorina decided to try her luck and contacted Radu Sirbu for a colaboration. His positive response made Lorina one of the artists of Rassada Music.
After a period of working in the studio and a change of look, her first single “Away from home” came to light and she became very fond of it.
